Location/Room Block
The 2024 Youth Advisory Commission Summit will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Lewisville, located at 785 State Hwy 121 in Lewisville. The hotel has extended a room rate of $104/King and $119/Queen per night plus tax. Parking is complimentary. To receive this special rate, book online here. This rate will be available until January 18 at 11:59 p.m. or until the block is full. For reservation questions, contact the hotel at 972-459-4600. If you’ve made multiple reservations under one name, please make sure to update the reservations with the specific occupants prior to arrival.
Displays
Established YAC programs will have the opportunity to show what their program is all about. Create a display and bring examples—photos, newspaper articles, brochures, guidelines from programs, etc. Materials will be on display throughout the summit. If you are interested in display space, please indicate so on the registration form.
City Pins
If your group has city pins or items similar to trade, it is recommended to bring at least 100. The trading of these items helps build unity and communication between cities/groups throughout the Summit.
Meals and Transportation
Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday, and dinner (at the Saturday social event) is included in registration fee. Food will also be available those attending the Friday networking event. Transportation will also be provided for anyone needing it to and from the social events.
Dress Code
Dress casually and comfortably. YAC or city shirts are encouraged too.
Cancellation Policy
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $25 cancellation fee will be assessed if a cancellation notice is emailed to acct@tml.org by January 5. No refunds will be given after this date.
