Location
The 2026 Youth Advisory Commission Summit will be held at Mt. Lebanon Camp, located at 1701 Texas Plume Road in Cedar Hill.
Hotel Accommodations
Two hotel blocks have been set-up near the event location.
The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas Cedar Hill, located at 409 North Clark Road in Cedar Hill, has extended a room rate of $99 plus tax. Parking is complimentary. To receive this special rate, book online here. This rate will be available until January 2 or until the block is full. Once the block is full, the best available rate will be provided. Hotel is 4.5 miles away from event location.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas Southwest Cedar Hill, located at 1007 North Highway 67 in Cedar Hill has extended a room rate of $99 plus tax. Parking is complimentary. To receive this special rate, book online here. This rate will be available until January 23 or until the block is full. Once the block is full, the best available rate will be provided. Hotel is 5.5 miles away from event location.
Transportation
Shuttle service will be provided from the hotels listed above to the library for Saturday’s social event.
Displays
Groups are invited to showcase their work with a display featuring photos, articles, brochures, or program materials. Indicate your interest in display space on the registration form. (Display space is reserved for city-sponsored youth groups.)
City Pins
If your group has city pins or items similar to trade, it is recommended to bring at least 100. The trading of these items helps build unity and communication between cities/groups throughout the Summit.
Meals
Meals included in the cost of registration are breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday, and dinner at the Saturday social event. Dinner will also be available those attending the Friday evening event. If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact jredin@tml.org by January 7 to see what accommodations can be made.
Social Events
Friday: Arriving early? Join us for a fun evening at Altitude Trampoline Park, located at 112 W. Belt Line Rd. #2, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. Come and go as you like—food will be provided.
Saturday: Roll out the Red Carpet! Join us at the Traphene Hickman Library, located at 450 Pioneer Trail, for an after-hours private party! Wear your best semi-formal fits and get ready to be on the dance floor! Not a dance person? Visit the video game lounge or enjoy a movie on the rooftop deck with popcorn and a hot chocolate bar. Step outside to visit the food trucks for a complimentary dinner!
Please indicate on the registration the amount of people attending the social events. A waiver will be sent to those attending the Friday event that must be completed prior to attending.
Dress Code
Dress casually and comfortably. YAC or city shirts are encouraged too.
Cancellation Policy
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $25 cancellation fee will be assessed if a cancellation notice is emailed to acct@tml.org by January 7. No refunds will be given after this date.
